Hardwood floors are made of different species of wood and generally come pre-finished. In the past, the installers would have to finish the floor after it had been installed, but modern hardwood flooring is finished at the factory and won’t leave a mess in your home! Hardwood flooring comes in different widths to suit your preference.

Hardwood floors need a stable environment where the humidity stays constant, so are not suited for entrance-ways or washrooms.

This installation of carpet on the stairs to the second level in a new home shows the skill of the installer — it’s not easy to carpet bullnose steps and between the spindles on a staircase, but it looks very good when it’s finished!

A hardwood floor in the entranceway was also installed.
